Pizza Hut Digital Ventures (PHDV) is looking for a delivery manager to join our Gurugram, Haryana office in India.
About the role:
As the Delivery Manager for Pizza Hut Digital Ventures, you will work efficiently and effectively with our global teams to develop and roll out digital products across our global markets. You will collaborate with our agile engineering, product and design teams in Vietnam, London along with our Head Office team in Dallas and franchise partners to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to a project roadmap.
The Delivery Manager will:
Shepherd projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules and triaging of issues.
Be the main point of contact between London, Vietnam, Local Business Units and Franchisee teams – ensuring that everyone is aligned on work priority and scope.
Ensuring the regular delivery of projects and products in accordance with Agile methodologies.
Defining and documenting project scope, resource requirements and dependencies
Setting timelines for deliverables.
Defining and managing priorities against the available capacity of team members.
Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
Creating a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture.
Upholding morale and team performance in challenging circumstances.
Encouraging regular iteration on deliverables.
Project manage multiple cross-functional programs simultaneously with competing priorities and ensuring on-time delivery.
Managing 3rd party suppliers to ensure that their work is delivered on time and take responsibility for communicating any impediments to keep things moving.
Take responsibility for release communication, schedules, and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise.
Who we’re looking for:
A Delivery Manager that has software and agile experience (Jira & Confluence).
A Delivery Manager that can demonstrate exceptional agile coaching skills.
Someone who is willing to wear a QA hat when the need arises to ensure we’re delivering the highest quality work possible.
Someone who has 5 years experience in the field.
Someone who appreciates the ‘big picture’ while really caring about the tiny details and you’ll ensure nothing gets missed by being organised while working in a fast-paced environment.
A Delivery Manager that has a demonstrated track record of managing technology projects and proven experience leading cross-functional programs by holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables. Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management. Experience in multi-time zone project management would be hugely beneficial.
Someone who has excellent oral and written English skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level.
Optional Requirements:
Experience with RDBMS like Amazon Aurora with PostgreSQL compatibility.
Experience working with spreadsheets (and Pivot Tables).
Experience with AWS.
